everybody need to be chippin in to keep these servers alive

i figure CSS side alone should be able to get 50-70 pounds raised easily before we even talk about TF2 or other

i been a bit slack and on and off so im up for a bigger amount next month

dont gotta donate every month just make it a decent amount when you do
or if youre donating 10 pounds a month constantly thats golden too

In referance to this post viewtopic.php?f=28&t=369 we wouldnt be chaseing after donations if we got a smaller box say One CSS server One TF2 Server and One BC2 server have them all 42/32 slots so there room for everyone to play.

It would be cheaper and easier to manage.

Except I prefer a 24 player TF2, 32 is just too much chaos...

there is also another problem with that halt all progress on css leagues coz they need 2 war servers as angry pointed out the tf2 players have varied tastes so looking at 1 custom 1 vanilla 24 slot and a war plus losing gmod and l4d2 and any chance of getting a basic l4d1 back up so by gaining 1 game we lose several to be honest i dont think anyone that has voted has thought it through from the view of other players not personal choice just to get a bc2 server dont get me wrong i aim to get bc2 at some point and will apreciate that being there but i dunno if its the best option, as it stands right now tho angry i'll ask around and see which they want to be a 24 slot

Good point Yorange :/ would be nice though to have a server that People like ogg2k and myself would like to actually donate money too because tbh I dont want to play source games anymore not until they release something new.

i fully agree but at the me time we started as a valve server what i would like to see is s integration which im sure they could arrange like a full backup a wipe then a universal install coz we are geared up for valve but as i see it we could gear up as a standard host then host any game but i must say for the several gigs worth of uploads i have done i dont wanna do it again and i imagine nor do the other players coz its downtime if we could do it with the minimum like a couple of hours arranged through gaming deluxe i agree good idea otherwise a issue and best to look at donations made towards a seperate bc2 server and excess to all other games which seems fair coz most of us play the others even if less frequent they are still our bread and butter and between l4d2 tf2 and css we have the majority and if that number dwindles so will the users i have another 2 clans in tf2 and if i get the admins in tf2 to maintain what i cant we have several donators on tf2 alone that could keep us alive permanently but its when they have their server up the prob is the access to quick upload keeps dieing and they struggle to get up ince there we are self sustained by that and can look at a full 18 server usage which we can handle easily then the bc2 as a seperate host coz after all we only need 1 due to slots and rather than reverting back to the stone age server wise i would love bc2 but a s a seperate server as long as this ones covered and only if its covered
